Kendriya Vidyalaya M.I.R.C. is 8 kms away from the railway station and is situated between village Darewadi and National Highway.

This Kendriya Vidyalaya of defence sector was established on 18th November, 1985 under the sponsorship of M.I.R.C. , with a view to cater to the wards of army personnel. This school building stands magnificently on a vast expanse of 14.8 acres of land handed over by the M.I.R.C. It stands tall with the walls painted in beige and mustered yellow creates a visually stunning impact.

This school building is compressively developed to make it fully self-sufficient in terms of infrastructure-tar road , power, water , drainage and environment .
